Beverly is a town in Massachusetts, United States. Beverly was first settled in 1636 by Puritans. It was incorporated as a village in 1892. The population of Beverly was 25,193 at the 2010 census.

Beverly, Massachusetts is a small town in Worcester County, Massachusetts. It is located on the eastern border of Worcester and Springfield Counties. The population was 10,812 at the 2010 census. The town was founded in 1792 by Captain John Beveridge and his wife Deborah Beveridge. They named it after their home state of Rhode Island. After they moved to America, Captain Beveridge built a sawmill in Beverly and continued to operate it until 1828 when he bought the mill from his nephew Ezra Stonington. In 1839, Captain Beveridge's son-in-law George Washington Marshall came to Beverly and offered to develop the land for farming and municipal purposes if the people would support him with firewood and other goods. The people of Beverly were so grateful that they voted unanimously in 1840 to incorporation as a village. In 1855, the Boston Railroad reached Beverly through an opening in the mountain which had been formed byblocking centuries of glacial Action Creek (now known as Park River). The railroad brought settlers and businesses into Beverly; some built stores along Park River while others set up homes around what is now downtown Beverly. The first school was opened in 1865; later there were four schools: one for boys, one for girls, one for white children only (the only such school until 1957), two churches (one Congregationalist/African Methodist Episcopal), a hotel/motel (1868–1927), several machine shops (1893–1911), three grocery stores(1898–1913), dental clinics (1902–2003) and two physician offices buildings including Drs.-Augie & Edward Ladd’s Physician’s Office building which still stands today at 5 Main Street NE (next door to Sears Tower). This period also saw many civic improvements including cell phone service being provided within walking distance of most businesses starting in 1998 which still exists today In 1957 Grady High School became available which led to more students coming into town; this eventually led to Grady Middle School being erected across from Grady High School six years later. In 2002 but due to lack of funding Community Services District #1 went bankrupt making things much harder for residents who depended onCSD services like food pantries water filtration systems trash pickups recycling etc… community members banded together formed Peoples PAC hoping somehow or another something could be done about their situation however no progress has been made since then

Beverly was founded in 1636 by the Reverend Thomas Beverly and his wife, Rebecca. The first permanent English settlement in what is now Beverly was established in 1638 by Captain John Smith, who founded a trading post on the MA coast. By 1775, over eighty percent of the population of Beverly was British colonists. The town quickly became a center for Puritan religious activity and development. It was also one of the most influential settlements in Massachusetts during its early years. In 1786, Beverly Joined with other towns to form the new Colony of Worcester. Beverly experienced significant growth during its early years as an English colony, but it eventually declined in importance due to its proximity to Boston and other major towns in Massachusetts. However, it continued to maintain strong ties to England until the American Revolution began). During the Revolutionary War, many Vermontians joined the war effort and served in various units throughout Massachusetts. In 1814, Beverley merged with neighboring Northborough (now part of Quincy) to form the newly created Middlesex County. In 1887, Beverly annexed nearby Wareham (now Revere) as part of itslargest municipal ever when it replaced Northborough as Middlesex County’s sole county seat

Beverly was founded in 1795 as a small village on the east side of Boston. It grew rapidly and by 1810 had a population of over 100 people. In 1814, Beverly became an incorporated town. The town was renamed Beverly after actress Beverly Harlow in 1903.
