Today's Beverly is known for its wide variety of shops and businesses including two large national retailers – JCPenney and Macy’s – as well as restaurants such as Starbucks Coffee & Tea Company, Little Italy Pizza Place (now open inside an old grocery store), King Soopers Supermarkets, Chinesetakeout Restaurants etc., making it one of the most active shopping communities in central Worcester County
