In the early 1800s, New Carrollton was a small farming town located in Baltimore County. The area now known as Maryland was then part of Virginia and guns were not commonly owned or used in society. This company made pistols, rifles, shotguns and other weapons for farmers and hunters throughout Maryland and Virginia. Their products were well-known and respected by locals and other gun enthusiasts alike. The Stevens brothers started their business in 1814. They continued making weapons until 1872 when they closed down their factory due to lack of demand from customers. However, their legacy lives on through their products which are still popular today among shooters across the United States!

New Carrollton, Maryland is a town in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. The population was 14,611 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Washington–Baltimore–National Capital Area. In addition to its commercial and residential districts, New Carrollton also contains a small amount of forested land on its eastern edge. The town was founded in 1789 by Captain John Smith as an attempt to provide defense against French and Indian forces who had recently invaded Maryland. At first it was called "Carrolltown." The name change was due to pressure from General Charles Lee of Virginia who wanted his own town named after him (Lee's hometown of Alexandria, Virginia had been renamed Potomac Town). In 1814 New Carrollton became the capital of Prince George's County and remained so through 1865 when Frederick County was created. On May 5th 1870 Judge Richard Mapes ordered all male residents over 21 years old to leave for lack of housing stock in what would become known as the "Mapes Riot." Many people were forced out into the open fields where they were burned alive or captured by Indians which has led to legend that "Old Fort" still stands today nears where many died during the rioting. After 19 years as capital, Baltimore moved back to Annapolis in 1795 because it could not support the growing population there and new capitol building just wouldn't hold up with traffic demands from both cities. Baltimore then vacated New Carrollton in 1871 when Prince George's County became fully incorporated as a single county under President Ulysses S. Grant’s Executive Order No 1 - becoming one of only four jurisdictions in Maryland (the others being Baltimore City; shown below) without city services coming directly under state control until 1967 when those services were transferred back to Baltimore City government status pursuant to an act passed by then-Governor William Donald Schaefer following riots between black separatists and police officers that broke out November 30th 1969 following passage by then-Mayor Kurt Schmoke (D) of legislation limiting civil rights activities conducted by black groups on public property.) The last time New Carrollton saw any major activity outside of periodic events such as Christmas parties/festivals past few decades has been when students belonging to Takoma Park High School held their annual graduation party at NSA on October 8th 2002 attended by more than 1000 graduates since juicing machines replaced traditional alcohol service there about 11 years prior). The popularity of firearms culture continued into the 1940s with the start of "Pumpkin Patch Armory" which became one of the most popular firearm-themed businesses ever created! This business manufactured replica guns including revolvers and pistols made from real wood or plastic materials. Customers could order these products directly from their website or through mail order.. Many other firearm-related businesses followed thereafter such as "Gunbroker" which sold both new and used firearms; "Firearmsmith Inc." which made replica guns; "TNT Industries", which manufactured pet supplies for gun owners; etc.. It wasn't until after World War II that things started changing with the advent of television programming that aired shows like Gunsmoke which featuredgunfights between cowboys and Indians along with other firearm related topics (e.g., hunting). As more people began watching this program they turned towards buying unique pieces related to firearms figuratively speaking! These days there are many online retailers who sell items relating tofirearms including NRA member shirts/knives/guns/ammunition/.

New Carrollton, Maryland is a town in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. The population was 13,565 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Washington-Arlington-Alexandria Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2000 census, New Carrollton had a total area of 10 square miles (26 km²). The first permanent settler in what is now New Carrollton was John Lewis who arrived in 1781. At that time there were only two small villages in Prince George's County: Calvert and Takoma Park. In 1814, Captain David Sutter founded the town of Mount Vernon on land he had bought from the Potomac River Native Americans. When America became an independent country under the Constitution, Mount Vernon became part of Georgetown because it lay within Georgetown's boundaries. In 1871, New Carrollton was incorporated as a city with a population of 12,000 people; however its growth slowed as many residents moved to larger towns and cities across Prince George's County during this time period. In 1928–29 Mayor James Ewing promoted annexation by Arlington which would have added 3 square miles (8 km²) to New Carrollton’s territory but this proposition failed to gain enough support from voters Despite this lack of success in annexing more territory into their city limits over the years, New Carollton residents continue to maintain strong ties with their ancestral home and retained much nostalgia for its agricultural past while promoting themselves as an attractive community today with high quality schools and businesses
New Carrollton was founded in 1788 as a small town on the Potomac River. It quickly grew into a major center of trade and commerce, and by 1815 had become one of the largest communities in Maryland. In 1864, New Carrollton became the capital of Maryland after the state was created from parts of Virginia and North Carolina. The city continued to grow throughout the 20th century, becoming an important cultural and commercial center for much of Eastern Maryland.
