This change would have a significant impact on Laurel as most white residents moved out or died during this time period while African American residents continued to live here but were not able to vote or hold office because they did not have proper documentation or citizenship status. The streetcar system ran from Druid Hill Park all the way uptown until its closure in 1924; however, most riders still took advantage of trips along Old York Road which served as their connecting route back down into downtown Baltimore or used Grand Central Station (now Metro Center) as their final destination despite having no stops outside of Little Silvertowne and Bethesda areas–except for one short trip out to Kensington during rallies for American Civil War general James Longstreet before he turned around and returned home again). As such we can today see various large mixed use buildings being developed at various intersections near Camden Yards such as Willowbrook Shopping mall & Thistlewood Mall (just east of Interstate 95 off Old York Rd.), Monroe Avenue @ Patterson Avenue intersection – formerly Paramount Tobacco Outlet – Stadium Row & Calvert Street NE – recently purchased by Comcast next door from Verizon Communications company - multiplex developments being constructed at light rail stops like Owings Mills station (northwest corner lot bounded by Owings Mills Boulevard/Old National Highway), Bel Air Station (southwest corner lot bounded by Bel Air Boulevard/Upper Paca Road), Glen Burnie Station (southwest corner lot bounded by Glenn Burnie Parkway/Piney Branch Trail), etc… over time these locations have seen an increase amount of pedestrian traffic funneling them closer towards center city areas leading eventuallyto more dense development nearby while Businesses have relocated further away from residential areas becoming less accessible… even now you can find several small clusters of businesses scattered throughout residential neighborhoods adjacent directly or nearly adjacentCommercial zones existing primarily established retail establishments serving Inner Harbor waterfront restaurants etc.; but overall FAR fewer large businesses are located nearer Downtown core neighborhoods… although some exceptions do exist such as One Penn Plaza (formerly called “the Lloyd Wright Building”) located immediately adjacent both Southwest Freeway & Light Rail stop just north thereof - another major exception would be Pratt Institute currently under construction across Northwest Freeway from Light Rail stop sheltering directly behind University Village housing complex built largely utilizing county tax money previously undeveloped inside Community college district boundaries – providing yet another attraction AND employment opportunity specifically targeting inner harbor region constituents
