This building still stands today and serves as Elmton Township's only resident church building aside from Moores Chapel Episcopal Church which also shares this property but sits closer to Main Street outside of Elkhart Lake area stats (see photo below). From 1907-1911 there were 10 churches within 1 mile radius of modern-day Elkton - 6 churches within 2 miles radius - all serving those living near or inside their respective limits while one church sat beyond any boundaries completely! As post-World War II America grew increasingly secularized new denominations began popping up all over rural America; being organized parish/congregational structures large enough could offer social welfare benefits such as health care insurance for their members along with clergy who could offer pastoral support - these congregations began setting up shop hereabouts throughout Americana becoming known collectively as "Ektownians." In 1830 Samuel Morse came across a grant from the British government for 6 square miles extending along the Potomac River eastward to Anacostia Point on Ashtown Creek - an area now including much of Montgomery County - which would become part of Washington D.C..
