Despite these benefits, there are still some concerns about their use as a form of self-defense. One such concern surrounds potential side effects associated with high levels of current flowing through a person’s body – such as muscle spasms or paralysis – during deployment of the weapon(Snyder 2006). Additionally, Officers may feel that using Tasers prematurely instead of waiting for backup would minimize risk while still providing lethal force (Higgins 2003). Overall though, Taser usage seems to be growing increasingly popular among law enforcement officials around the world – likely because it provides more options for dealing with dangerous individuals without risking life or limb

Cumberland, Maryland is a city in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. The population was 26,611 at the 2010 census. Cumberland is the county seat of Prince George's County and home to several high-rise buildings including the Cumberland Towers and the Cumberland Mall. It also has a small-town feel with its streets named after families that have lived there for generations or where crops have been grown. The area now known as Cumberland was first settled by English colonists in 1683 as part of Cecil Township in Anne Arundel County. In 1718, Frederick Neuman erected a sawmill on the Patuxent River near present-day Cumberland Mills Shopping Center to produce lumber for local homes and businesses. The mill became an important economic force in the early 1800s; it employed up to 100 workers before being shut down in 1857 due to competition from other mills in nearby Baltimore City. During World War II, much of what is now downtown Cumberland was leveled by bombing raids from RAF Upper Marlboro during the Battle of Britain. Afterward, many downtown businesses were rebuilt using war surplus materials and equipment fromBaltimore City government agencies and private developers. As commercial activity grew again following the turn of the century, construction began on new downtown skyscrapers such as One Penn Plaza (now occupied by JPMorgan Chase) and State House Square (now occupied by MCIWorldCom). Downtown business development continued into the 21st century with projects like Phase III of Midtown which added another 300 jobs to town coffers between 2007 and 2009;Phase IV which increased development around Midtown Transport Center;and plans for a new light rail station that would link Downtown with all surrounding neighborhoods should they be realized
