The Cambridge, Maryland Gun Magazines company was founded in 1903. The company was started by John A. Kinsterer and his brother-in-law, George W. Goudreau, who also ran the Goudreau Bros. firearms store in Cambridge. The first issue of the Cambridge Magazine was dated November 3, 1903 and featured a story about how a man had been shot dead while hunting near the town of Lexington on October 31st, 1903.
Cambridge, Maryland is a city in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. It is the largest municipality in the county by population. The population was 20,853 at the 2010 census. The City of Cambridge is located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and borders Washington County to the east and Prince George's County to the west. The first settlers in what is now Cambridge were farmers who arrived from England c 1755-1760. They built their homes near present day Cross Keys Road and developed an agricultural economy that produced corn, wheat, tobacco, potatoes and other vegetables for local markets. The area around present day downtown Cambridge was settled by Scottish Presbyterians in 1839 as part of a wagon road trip from Cumberland Valley through Prince George's County on their way to Harrisburg for church services. North of Main Street they founded West Columbia Chapel which functioned as a school until 1865 when it burned down & replaced with Christ Church Cathedral (now Trinity Episcopal). In 1876 John Fenton donated land south of Market Street for what would become Harvard University which he had purchased from Drury College founders Benjamin Franklin Avery & Nicholas Roebuck along with another parcel of land just east of Boston Avenue which would be used as an Oval Drive after expanding Harvard Yard across Allston Road in 1879-1880 (& during World War I). Today many buildings on Eliot Street date back to this period including Houghton House (1881), King’s Chapel (1910) and Amherst Hall (1924). In 1888 MIT students started construction on Emerson College’s first building north of Boston Ave., later renamed “Emerson Hall” after then President John Emerson himself. This new college campus formed one half of what would become Harvard University while much older parts surrounding it were developed into Downtown Cambridge slowly becoming more populated over time including East Campus where MIT Law School now stands ( joined full time by Brown law school in 2002). On February 14th 1914 local resident Walter Mitty bought 350 acres along the banks of Huntingdon River southwestward from Cambridge making him one of the earliest developers in Cambridge Township; this initial purchase led to creation of Watertown Park today adjacent to his house on Huntingdon Rd., also home to Hunt Library since 1907 & Cameron Village since 1916 which together comprise what is now known as Watertown Common/Watertown Square . There are several theories about how Mitty came up with his idea for this park although all agree that he believed that it could be a commercial success given its location close enough to major transportation arteries like Interstate 95 & US 301 without feeling too crowded or inflated like other urban parks such as Central Park or Madison Square Garden

Cambridge, Maryland is a town in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. The population was 9,895 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Washington-Baltimore-Towson Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settlers to what is now Cambridge were Quakers who arrived in 1721 from Northampton County, Pennsylvania. They built a small encampment on land grants they received from the Crown as part of the West India Company's plan for developing America. In 1785, following the death of King George II of England and his wife Queen Charlotte, Cambridge became an incorporated town with a meeting house and two stores. The first post office was established in 1787; it was renamed Cambridge in 1803 after Governor John Smith's failure to receive a postal stamp from London that would have honored Sir Walter Raleigh as one of America's "Eminent Men". In 1834, Harvard University moved its operations to Cambridge from Newton Abbot, Massachusetts and began accepting students there. In 1868–69, during the American Civil War (1861–1865), many local men volunteered for service in Confederate forces; some were drafted into Units A and B of the 1st Maryland Infantry Regiment under Maj. Genlinear Biddle (1820–1902). Aftermaths included skirmishes between Union troops and Confederate sympathizers throughout much of Northern Maryland until 1865; these came to be known as "Battlefields Row." At this time only male residents were allowed inside town limits; women could only shop at outside marketplaces or attend services at church. In 1865 Boston College opened its doors to undergraduate students for the first time in history; since then it has been an all-male institution with no plans to admit female students any time soon. As enrollment increased at both schools several new buildings were erected on Battlefields Row: Trinity Church (1867), Wellesley College ( 1870), Harvard Law School (1900), and Bowie Park (1905). Today many aspects of contemporary life in Cambridge are based upon those institutions which once thrived there including musicology departments at Wellesley College and Bowdoin College
