If you want accurate hits at close range with little intervening ground noise then choose a Rear Sight; however if you primarily shoot at longer ranges then Front Sights are better suited for you since they eliminate all movement potential within 5 yards which makes aiming easier while maintaining complete control over your weapon - something Rear Sights cannot do easily enough!
