In 1941, yet another shooting occurred in Lewiston- shortly after Pearl Harbor had happened- leaving six people dead and twenty-four injured after gunmen stormed a movie theater using grenades and shotguns.. The attack is still remembered as one of the deadliest attacks on civilians in America since World War II.. After this attack, new gun laws were put into place to try and reduce future shootings like this one.. In 1949, violence erupted again within Lewiston when two groups fought over control of a local park square.. Gunfire ensued which left four people dead including two attackers(the shooters are still unidentified) As tensions soared throughout most of the 1950s and 1960s guns continued to be used increasingly illegally without any consequence for those involved- making it difficult for law enforcement to prosecute these cases effectively.. Lewiston experienced its first homicide case involving firearms just over 50 years ago on October 9th 1969 when Clarence “Butch” Catalano killed his wife Teresa Catalano with a rifle while she slept during an argument about custody arrangements following their separation; Teresa had been trying to get joint custody from Butch but he refused to allow her access to her weapon

Lewiston, Maine is a small town located in the eastern part of the U.S. state of Maine. The population was 7,362 at the 2010 census. It lies on the banks of the Penobscot River and is bordered by Portland, Maine to the north and east; Biddeford, Maine to the south; Saco, Maine to the west and north; and Westbrook, Maine to the northwest. The town was founded in 1855 by General Jonathan Atherton as a summer trading post on what is now Lewiston-Auburn Road. It became an agricultural community during World War I because of its natural resources: lumber, potatoes, grains and hay. In 1963 it gained city status when it joined Portland after being separated from that city by then-Mayor James Waddell's " Toledo Bill". Lewiston has been a rural community since before European settlement began in 1602; today its only industry is agriculture. Lewiston's downtown contains several shops/bars/cafés along with a library and several local historical buildings including Dewey Square which once housed a flour mill operated by General Mills until 1966.

Another modification was making firearms easier and faster to reload using breech loading systems which allowed users to fire multiple rounds per minute instead of per shot like earlier methods did (this also makes rifles more accurate). Finally, some firearms now feature safe locks which prevent unauthorized individuals from accessing these devices without having their Fingerprint recorded!
