During World War II, Winchester Manufacturing Company produced over 1 million firearms for the U.S Military which included shotguns, rifles, pistols and more. After World War II ended, Winchester Manufacturing Company merged with Remington Arms Corporation which continued producing firearms until 1971 when it merged with Browning Firearms Corporation
