The town of Augusta, Maine is home to the oldest continually inhabited settlement in the United States. In 1865-1868 Confederate General Nathan Bedford Forrest made several raids into Maine using guerrilla tactics against Union forces under Major General George Bancks who vainly attempted to stop him at various points along his route southward from Georgia. Aftermath of these raids includes many destroyed or damaged homes and businesses within towns such as Augusta which may have taken much indirect civilian casualties due to Forrest's invasions despite his boasts about sparing no one living except officers and their families members inside those establishments while conducting this raid(see also "".) Since then guns have continued being used as props for photos and videos throughout Southeast Asia with some people even believing that they are still being used today by separatists groups there unfortunately with some incidents taking place recently here too; however I am sure that with more awareness about what is happening around them people will eventually stop using them for target practice etc!
