West Monroe is a small town in Orleans Parish, Louisiana, United States. The population was 11,711 at the 2010 census. It is part of the New Orleans–Metairie–Kenner Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area that became West Monroe was first settled by Catholic missionaries in the 18th century. A post office called "Monroe" was established in 1798, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1876. In 1836, West Monroe municipal incorporation took place; it remained an unincorporated community until 1951. In 1901, construction began on what would become Tulane University's main campus; the university has since grown to include nearly 19,000 students. In 1962, West Monroe became one of two parishes within New Orleans City Slope Borough; this change only occurred after a referendum passed by voters in which they approved annexation by the borough as a whole. Lafayette Avenue runs through the heart of West Monroe and forms its commercial district; other major streets include Elm Street and Roosevelt Boulevard. The Old Frenchtown Historic District contains many historic buildings dating from before American independence including several churches built during the early years of Louisiana's colonization and some of the earliest cotton plantations in North America. The parish courthouse complex also includes a large Greek Revival style building erected between 1865 and 1870 as well as smaller structures dating back to earlier times such as a Baptist church constructed c 1800 that still stands today adjacent to Interstate 10 (exit 361) near downtown New Orleans

These revolvers used three straps across their front instead of just one like mostsix-holster pistols Triple-strap revolvers became very popular due to their convenience and ease of use when carrying Concealed Weapons permit holders around town or on hunting trips because they could carry both their handgun and their fishing rod without having any extra straps weighing down their arms or hurtingtheir hands . Triple-strapped revolvers also became very popular with law enforcement officers because they could now wear sidearms openly without being ridiculed or worried about people seeing them with a knife strapped across their chest
