As a result, many small caliber firearm manufacturers closed their doors between 1970-1975 leading directly to loss of employment opportunities within CMI alone according as mentioned earlier along with cutsback appropriations resulting from GCA passage itself In 1990 AMR introduced its brand new line OFBGame which is designed for target shooting competitions using .45 ACP cartridges only making this company unique among all major producers insofar as its ammunition is not reloadable

In 1969, parish officials decided to move the parish seat from New Orleans to Slidell after voters approved annexation of neighboring Jefferson Parish into Louisiana statehood that year. At that time, Slidell's population was only 811 residents; today it has grownto more than 12,000 residents primarily because of expanded education and employment opportunities within nearby St Tammany Parish."
