It featured much better performance due to its wide beamwidth (100m compared to 100mm for traditional optical sights) and its ability to track moving targets accurately over long distances without error or magnification gain from other devices like telescopic sights or red dot shooters' optics). However, this new design also required installation inside a rifle barrel which made it less practical for personal defense purposes outside of close quarters combat situations where extreme accuracy is needed Additionally, it suffered from reliability problems due to variability in shutter speeds/ angles across different rifle barrels In 1998 however, Reno Semiconductor Corporation got their hands on Ruse Optics patent which allowed them to make their own version using off-the-shelf components - known now simply as Lasersight Systems Inc (LISI). A French trader, René Villemain, founded a small town here about 1710 called Beausoleil (Beauxlies). By 1800, Shreveport had developed into an important commercial center with cotton plantations producing sugar cane, seafood processing plants and brickmaking factories - businesses that continue to be significant today despite competition from online shopping malls and other urban areas statewide. In 1836–37 Father José Gomez y Gómez established a mission station at Patuxent River where he began teaching Catholic worship within local African American communities which would become known as the black Catholics of Shreveport. After Mexican revolution starting on April 14th 1846 Shreveport became part of independent Mexico until it was ceded to France on November 15th 1848 during Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo; aftershocks from that event caused many buildings destroyed or damaged such as St John's Episcopal Cathedral which still stands today albeit without its bells because they were melted down during repairs following Hurricane Katrina; Mexican War: On October 25th 1861 Confederate General Braxton Bragg attacked Fort Sumter while it was garrisoned by Federal troops under Lieutenant Colonel Isaac Newton Baird; munitions stored at Fort Sumter were burned resulting in over 1,600 deaths; Union forces stormed Fort Sumter five days laterEyewitness accounts report seeing women being dragged off burning buildings by Confederate soldiers before she died sometime between September 16th & September 20th 1861 postulates this event could have been rape if true In 1865 Union General Nathan Bedford Forrest took up arms against both sides during Reconstructionserving three terms as mayor from 1886-1896; white Democrats regained control after Republicans lost control statewide in 1956 On May 5th 1938 Shreveports first all black high school graduated seniors Missie Mae Watkins (1905-1978) Arlene Cook (1920-) Dorothy Heightenkamp (1927-) Mrs Whitey Brockman (1924-) With future Governor Edwin Edwards attending ceremonies Today Shreveports is one of North Central Louisiana's most diverse cities hosting residents from all walks of life with remnants of both African American/Africanized American & EuropeanAmerican cultures still visible throughout its neighborhoods
