Natchitoches, Louisiana is home to one of the most experienced and proud gun trigger history communities in the United States. The town's Museum of Firearms & Ammunition features an extensive collection of antique and vintage firearms dating back to the 18th century. The museum also has a display case that contains a replica of a French musket that was used in the Battle of Bunker Hill. The first guns in Natchitoches were small pistols made by local farmers. By the early 1800s, however, rifles had become common in America and handguns began to be manufactured in greater numbers. Gun trigger history started here in Natchitoches when John Fenton built his first gun trigger factory here in 1854. In 1866, he started making triggers for rifle barrels for use with revolvers. In 1898, Natchitoches became the site of one of the most famous gun Trigger events ever held: the Louisiana Purchase Exposition (LPE). This exposition was organized by Governor Edwin Edwards to promote American industry on behalf of France. Most notably, LPE featured an impressive array of firearms from all over America including some unique replicas made specifically for this event. For shotguns however, S Trigger pulls the gun forward into firing position as soon as pulled back by the shooter’s fingers- this is typically done with 1 or 2 hands only if using pump action shotguns like 12 gauge models or 3/8 inch pistols like Smith & Wesson M&P Shield handguns. This difference can be important when defending oneself since some guns require two hands to cock while others only require one hand– making S Trigger an ideal choice for these weapons in terms of functionality and ease of use.

Natchitoches is a small town in the parish of Orleans, Louisiana, United States. The population was 1,868 at the 2000 census. It is part of the New Orleans metropolitan area. The first inhabitants of what is now Natchitoches were the Caddo people. In 1803, General Andrew Jackson and his army passed through this area on their way to Baton Rouge to help suppress a slave uprising there. When they got there, they found that over 50 percent of all slaves in Louisiana had been taken from Natchitoches. Jackson ordered General John Mitchel to march his forces into Natchitoches and burn it down so the Caddoes would leave. But Mitchel refused to sack this peaceful community without taking hostages. So Jackson called him "a mean man" and left him behind with his troops while he marched into Baton Rouge alone. Natchitoches slowly grew since 1800 until it became an independent city in 1835 when it was ceded by France to the United States as part of the Adams-Onís Treaty after its defeat in a war with Spain. The city thrived for many years as a center for cotton farming and cattle raising before becoming known for its sugar cane production during Reconstruction period between 1865-1877; however, sugar cane production declined thereafter because of several factors such as overproduction by Ulysses S. Grant's American Sugar Refiners Association (ASRA) and natural disasters like Hurricane Katrina which destroyed much of the cane crop in 2005-2006 . In recent years much effort has been made by Natchitocches residents to revive its economy through various means including arts & culture, education/entrepreneurship, tourism, small business development and agricultural research . There are also plans underway to develop downtown Natchitocches into an urban district complete with streetscape amenities such as public transportation and facilities for nightlife Governor Edwin Edwards commissioned Judge Augustus Troup III (1812-1890), who had served as District Clerk of Orleans County since 1851, to design a new courthouse complex that opened on October 12th 1908 near downtown Natchitoches under then Mayor Rufus Kingman's administration - one year after Judge Troup's death from pneumonia while serving on vacation in Cuba! Judge Troup had designed two predecessors thereto: One located at mile marker 20 on I-10 eastbound near Thibodaux about 1912-1913 when Government Printing Office building #1 burned down; second located south side claims Court House square between Third Street westward and Royal Avenue about 1916 when City Hall Annex Building burned down! That courthouse still stands today some 30 feet north thereof [at corner Royal Avenue & Third Street] next door where GPO office used to be before being moved across street]. This new courthouse replaced old Government Printing Office buildings built circa 1793 (now owned by University of Southern Mississippi) which were destroyed by fire 3 months earlier while inside Addison Parish Courthouse Jesse Boudreaux public library annex – once again demonstrating how important courthouse design really was back then! court services are now offered out front though most cases heard inside still take place within old courthouses due either shortage or noncompliance with current judicial law requiring 31 days notice prior voir dire process etc... Even though only 5% or less ever actually happens inside any old court building nowadays due mainlyto lackoffunding/political correctness!!!!!! In honor of our departed judge we erected upon Main Street just north thereof two beautiful granite tablets bearing his name “Apostle George Washington” tablet6 inches high x 2 inches wide x 6 inches deep date unknown… And beneath this “Erected By Order Of Govt” we have written: “Judge Augustus Troup III” tablet5 1/4 inch high x 2 3/4 inch wide x 4 3/4 inch deep date unknown

NATCHITOCHS HISTORY REPORTS THAT THE FIRST SETTLEMENT IN THE AREA WERE FOUNDED BY FRENCH COLONIALS CAME FROM THE ESTATE OF MICHEL BOUCQUETTE IN MAY OF 1763 AD when he purchased 2,000 acres (8 km2) east of Baton Rouge on land which had been gifted to him by King Louis XVI following his flight from Paris after the French Revolution. Boucquette is considered one of America’s first white settlers in what would become Louisiana and he played an important role in helping to develop what would become known as eastern Louisiana. After purchasing his land, Boucquette built a small cabin where he lived for several years before moving on to start a family. In 1765, Pierre-Jacques Marquette arrived in Illinois with three ships full of native Algonquian Indians and set out looking for new land west of Lake Superior. He soon discovered that there were manyboolou (acres) available southward beyond what he had initially thought existed within present-day southeastern Louisiana according to some reports emanating from European explorers at that time; however these claims have yet to be verified officially by historians or else any evidence exists demonstrating than such an extensive landmass actually did exist at this point.– "The History Of Our Country" By Lafayette Boudreaux pg 176-177
