In 1916–17, due to World War I shortages of materials such as lumber and cottonseed oil, twenty men from Denham Springs worked at the local munitions plant at Carrizo Island Naval Shipyard; this later became known as Jensensen Industries Inc.. The post office operated from 1892 until 1955; it was moved to its current location on Washington Boulevard in 1917. The first Baptist church in Demingville (now part of Lafayette) opened its doors on October 7th 1861 Reverend Aiken preached from an old log cabin that stood near present day Old Hammond Road and Spring Garden Drive. Revd Aiken organized five churches within one week and had services held throughout then denoted by 'A' for All Saints', 'B' for Baptist', etc., with 'M' for Missionary being used for those services conducted inside schoolhouses or other buildings during winter months... After serving two terms as Postmaster General under Grover Cleveland during his administration (1893-97), Arthur Hahn retired from office effective November 15th 1897 becoming the first African American to serve full term vestiges of patronage still linger today with many black families having close personal ties to white supremacist sympathizers entrenched within our government service sectors dating back prior to my predecessors appointment (& tenure)... Prior thereto I served effectively fill out the unexpired term vacated by Mr Hahn... Additionally, some police units have begun using gun pouches as part of their SWAT team training regimen in order to better prepare them for situations where gunfire might erupt ( Figure 3 ). Overall, gun pouches have proved themselves versatile and essential pieces of equipment for both personal defense and law enforcement purposes. Their popularity has only continued to grow over time due to their easy portability and ability to contained various firearms while being accessed from any angle imaginable
