Central Louisiana is a farming community located in the US state of Louisiana. The town of Central, founded in 1836 by James Boudreaux, became the capital of the new Louisiana Territory after it was created from parts of Texas and Mississippi. Central has been known for its cotton fields and rice plantations ever since. The area now comprising Central LA was first settled by Native American people in the 17th century. Most of what is today Central LA was acquired through land acquisition or purchase by white settlers during the 19th century. The community had its start as a small settlement on the banks of the Red River near present-day Baton Rouge. In 1836, James Boudreaux arrived in what is now Central LA with his family to make a new home for himself and his wife, Lizzie Belle Smith. Over time, other families followed suit and soon there were over 100 residents living in central Louisiana at one point. The arrival of railroads made life more difficult for colonists but they persisted nonetheless; cotton production continued to be an importantstay of local economy until recently. During World War II, many locals fought in Japanese camps throughout central Louisiana; some continue to do so to this day as part of their displays of patriotism related to that war era

The first true rifleScope design appeared in 1764 when French engineer Nicolas-Jacques Conte improved on Huygens’ original design by adding a fourth lens onto each side of the barrel! This new model became known as “the Conte Rifle Scope with Four Lenses” and it remained popular through until 1853 when Thompson & Wesson introduced their own model using six lenses! It wasn’t until 1885 that Nikon finally released their own Reflex Sight model which featured nine lenses on each side of the barrel! Central Louisiana was founded in 1803 by French colonists as the Lower Red River Parish. The parish was named for the central area of present-day Orleans County, LA. Central Louisiana became an American territory following the Mexican-American War in 1848. The United States acquired it as a result of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, which ended the war. In 1861, during the American Civil War, Central Louisiana sided with the Confederacy and supported Richmond. When Confederate General Robert E. Lee surrendered at Appomattox Court House on April 9, 1865, all Union forces within Central Louisiana were evacuated. The entire parish became part of Mexico after that event.
