Radcliff is a small town in Johnson County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 553 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Lexington–Fayette–Fort Worth, TX Metropolitan Statistical Area. Radcliff was founded in 1819 by Christopher Radcliffe and his wife Elizabeth. The original store and mill were destroyed by a fire in 1846; but the community thrived after being rebuilt on land donated by General Andrew Jackson. Today, Radcliff is known for its many annual events such as the Christmas parade and pumpkinogi cook-off. The town also enjoys a reputation for its friendly people and liveable climate which has allowed it to remain an important agricultural center for years. The first settlers of Radcliff arrived on horseback from Virginia in 1819. They built the original store and mill on the site that now stands in downtown Radcliff. In 1850, they started farming crops and raising livestock until becoming farmers themselves two years later when they acquired a sawmill and gristmill located east of town along State Route 291 near present day Daymondville Road). At this time, they began to build up their own stores and businesses which continue to thrive today including one within walking distance of every home! In 1896, brothers Amos & Nelson Tipton bought out fellow farmers Amos Witherspoon & James Whitehurst who had operated a farm north of town since 1868 (now known as Old Main Cemetery). This new group purchased much needed land around what is now downtown Radcliff just south of Interstate 75 where they built what would become their largest grocery store ever! Today’s building – completed in 1924 – dates back to this period with extensive additions over the years including an automated teller machine (ATM) inside today’s bank lobby! By 1920, local citizens had come up with the idea to rename their small town “Radcliff” after General Andrew Jackson who had been instrumental in helping them rebuild following a devastating fire which destroyed their previous store/mill earlier that year. As word spread about this fine community located just outside of Lexington proper, more people from all walks of life came forward to contribute funds towards construction - resulting in what is still considered one of the most impressive brick buildings west of Louisville! This latest addition - completed in 1955 - continues today as one of downtown’s most popular tourist attractions featuring gift shops/restaurants/theatre etc., plus ample parking for visitors!

The hook grip consisted of a loop of metal or wood extending from the rearward edge of the handguard to the front surface of the manual rifle stock. The modern day pistol grip is a derivative of this design. It typically consists of two straps, one running along either side of the firearm's action, and one running down the centerline between them. This allows for a greater range of motion when gripping the weapon.
Radcliff is a small town in Hardin County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 651 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Lexington–Fayette, KY Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first permanent settler in Radcliff was J.H. Robberson, who arrived in 1853. He erected a cabin on the site of what is now the Bank of Radcliff building and store. In 1865, James Halliday established an agricultural cooperative with his brother-in-law John Wimsatt which grew to become one of the leading cooperatives in Kentucky and across much of southwestern US during the Progressive Era (1890-1920). The Hallsiday family left Radcliff for good in 1922 when their youngest son, also James Halliday died suddenly at age 44 years old while working as an auctioneer for Pemberton & Sons Auctioneers Incorporated located in Louisville, Kentucky. The post office was established at Radcliffe on July 3, 1859, by order of Governor David Covington. The name change from “Radcliffe” to “Radcliff” on February 1st 1860 due to objections from local citizens who felt that it would be too similar to nearby Williamsonburg and thought that there should be a separate town named for each county seat within Hardin County. A total of 12 post offices were established throughout Hardin County by 1860; only six remain today: Radcliffe (one), Harperville (two), Bowling Green (three), Paducah (four), New Albany (five), and Seymour (six). In 1868 Colonel Samuel Tilton donated land to build a Collegiate School at Radcliffe which served as the primary educational institutions for all students in Hardin County until 1960 when Whitley College became available for students from western Kentucky only after serving as a feeder school for HBCU's Morehead State University beginning in 1907). Shortly after Tilton's donation camecriptions began arriving from various individuals and groups requesting deeds or donations specifying that such parcels extend eastward into Transylvania County; this early paper industry activity soon developed into what would become known as "Radcliff Land grab". On December 15th 1870 Judge Elijah Caldwell delivered judgment against two men – George Witherspoon and Hiram Ware – accused them of unlawfully appropriating 2/3 mile square block including present day downtown radcliffe along with other blocks constituting Lots No 5 & 8 RCN 2481 - 2485 west side of Broadway between First & Second Streets being offered by husbandman Daniel Boone via deed dated November 10th 1776 for $2 per acre more exactly than what they had claimed upon purchase plus interest @ 10% = $10 + $1 per month - resulting in their ejection from property originally patented @ £110 4s 6d almost 9 months earlier! Upon appeal this decision was reversed by Circuit Court Judge Isaiah Hodges finding that although no formal deed exists extant showing how these lots were acquired it does not invalidate its legal validity since both parties knowingly agreed to sell at auction unlike some rare but prior cases where sellers have refused to sell because they did not know about any mapping or platting done back then! This case further solidifiedradcliiffe's position as one of most important commercial centers within eastern hardincounty well before later developments such as Louisville Slugger baseball park & Eastern Air Lines airport developed nearby!
The first people to live in Radcliff, Kentucky were the Shawnee. They moved there from central Illinois about 1800. The next group of settlers were the Taney Indians. They came from Tennessee in 1814. The final group was the Claiborne family who moved to Radcliff in 1853.
