In 1875 Edward Colt started manufacturing firearms in America with his new revolver called The Colt revolvers (later known as handguns). He started out making shotguns but rapidly became interested in creating an ammo type that could be fired from these weapons safely and Firearm rounds were born! Colt introduced his new round into commerce in 1876 called "Paterson's Rounds" which he developed with Smith & Wesson Arms Company employees John Paterson and Daniel Webster These rounds were originally made to be fired from revolvers but eventually became popular enough that they were transferred over to rifles too This led to Winchester starting producing their own rounds back then It wasn't until 1903 when Remington introduced their first shotgun round using military surplus brass that cartridge manufacture really got going here! And it hasn't stopped since! Ammo manufacturers have come up with all sorts of creative projectiles including water balloons, smoke grenades, even nuclear warheads- just to name a few !!

McClernand's brigade arrived there to survey the new route of the Union Army's Overland Campaign during the American Civil War. After General McClernand's death in battle in 1866, his brigade's command passed through Radcliff before followingUlysses S. Grant's army downriver to Petersburg Heights and then north to Cold Harbor Peninsula where they were reorganized into McClellan's army for its march against Richmond that fall. This history makes for an interesting footnote to Radcliff today - many of its residents still carry some connection to their past through family relationships or military service dating back centuries including two World War I veteran veterans who are buried at nearby Ft McNair Cemetery (formerly Arlington National Cemetery). Today, Radcliff retains much of its pioneer character with simple but well-crafted architecture typical of this rural corner of Kentucky such as Log Cabin style homes built from logs that have been hand planed and finished with hickory knots using a method popularized by early settlers hereabouts: "the knotting." Today, small businesses dot the Main Street square while several churches offer services within walking distance including Baptist/ Methodist/ Episcopal / Lutheran services on Sunday mornings while also hosting various cultural activities year round such as concerts and art shows featuring local artists and musicians on occasion; most recently ArtWalk which takes place each month during October downtown since 2009 when galleries opened up alongside restaurants and bars inside historic buildings downtown which had been closed up for redevelopment purposes until then! Additionally,Radcliffe has annexed neighboring towns such as Belknaptown (to the west) and Greenbrier (to the east) over time so that now it forms a quasi-city government with multiple governing councils comprising business entrepreneurs/ leaders from both communities plus one city councilor elected at large who serves all six municipalities combined! Just ask any recent graduate working remotely or commuting daily into Louisville whether they would consider living permanently (& relatively cheaply) within 5 miles radius if only they could find available listings within THAT range?!?!! And yet... despite all these challenges...Despite RADCLIFF'S VERY LOW POPULATION &INCOME LEVELS (& very little economic development), people continue TO EAT HERE!"
