Some examples are consumer NAS systems that require gigabit Ethernet connections because they cannot be cooled by CPU cores alone, professional graphics card manufacturers who need higher bandwidth for image decoding or encoding tasks or game developers who need multiple frames per second from their video cards when gaming. In 1830, local farmers formed a town association which began developing what would become present-day downtown Owensboro on land that had once been their personal property orchard. On July 4th, 1830—the day before general Richard Henderson's attack on Boyd's Ferry—the town populace gathered around an open fire near Old Market Square to celebrate its incorporation as a new village under the direction of Mayor David Brownell (1797-1864). The following year saw another milestone: when road construction began within town limits and travelers could finally travel easily between Lebanon Junction on the east side oftown and Paducah on the west side without having to go through KY 21 northward first! In 1825, General James Ketchum moved his headquarters from Paducah to Owensboro after acquiring land there following a victory over Native Americans at Battle of Little Big Horn Creek. Ketchum's headquarters remain there to this day as part of American Memory National Historical Park located in downtown Owensboro

The Owensboro, KY community dates back to the early 1800s. The first enslaved Africans were brought to Owensboro in 1795 by Colonel John Sevier and his family. Settlers began arriving in Owensboro in 1819, when the state of Kentucky was created from parts of Virginia and Tennessee. By 1830, there were over 100 people living in Owensboro. In 1836, General Forrest's Cavalry attacked a militia detachment near Owensboro, resulting in the death of several men and boys. This event is generally considered to be the beginning of the Civil War in Kentucky. Owensboro remained an agricultural town until World War II when it became a main base for manufacturing products related to aircraft production during World War II. After the war, Owensboro experienced rapid growth as a bedroom community for Louisville Slugger baseball players and other high-profile workers at General Motors plants near Louisville and Cincinnati. However, by 1970s Owenton had lost its industrial importance and has since become an upscale shopping center with some small businesses remaining active including printing presses which are still used today at two nearby mills operated by Emporium Paper Products Inc..
