Lyndon, Kentucky is a small town in Marshall County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 1,987 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Cincinnati Metropolitan Area. The town was founded in 1827 by Scots-Irish immigrants who came to the area during the American Revolution. The name "Lyndon" is derived from French for "bridge over the river". The first post office was established in 1829. In 1868, Lyndon Joined with other towns in Marshall County to form what would become the Cincinnati metropolitan area. The local paper industry played an important role in Lyndon's growth and success as a community. For many years, it was one of the largest producers of newspapers in eastern Kentucky. In addition to its own paper mill and printing plant, Lyndon also manufactured radios and televisions until about 2000; however these industries are no longer active within the town limits. Today, most residents live within 2 miles of their churches or mosques which continue to play a significant role in their lives and economy. Ammunition was stored at the site until 1834 when it was moved to Youngstown, Ohio. The first shot fired in the American Revolution took place at Lexington Court House on April 19, 1775, using cartridges developed inieri by Nicholas-Jacques Conte and Samuel Morse.

The young Lincoln learned about hard work from his grandfather and from reading stories about people who had worked their way up through the ranks. When Johnson became president, he made efforts to improve the lives of Americans by creating jobs and increasing education opportunities. In order to achieve these goals, Johnson engaged in numerous initiatives, including: building the Interstate Highway System; reforming tax laws; expanding Medicare and Medicaid; creating new environmental policies; and increasing Social Security benefits. Johnson also used his power as president to promote social justice by supporting programs like affirmative action and child poverty relief. Johnson’s presidency came to an end after less than two years when he was fatally shot by John F Kennedy. After Johnson’s death, many Americans felt that they had not been given a fair chance during his time as president because of Differences in Race and Gender (DARG). This issue has continued to be an important focus for protesters today who feel that LBJ did not do enough for them during his time as president

Lyndon is a town in Johnson County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 3,712 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Johnson County. The first settler in Lyndon was James Hance who arrived in 1792. He and his wife built the first log cabin in what is now Lyndon. Charles Goodnight settled there in 1827 and named it for General John Cranch, leader of the Louisiana Purchase expedition that year. In 1839, David Wigglesworth founded a small community called Hinton on the east side of present-day Lyndonville after purchasing land from James Wigglesworth and others near present-day Louisville. In 1840, Wigglesworth reorganized his settlement as Lyndon Township and named it for General John Cranch. In 1851, Abraham Lincoln visited Lyndon while on an unsuccessful campaign tour of America; he stayed at Sanders House with local farmers and then proceeded to Eppsboro to speak before a crowd of 10 000 people about "a new nation under my presidency." Lincoln's visit has been commemorated every year since by a visiting presidential delegation or by starting up West Virginia's Mount Rushmore National Monument during their annual summer vacation schedule (the last such event occurred on July 4th). As part of these visits, they also stop at various farms and outbuildings around Lyndon where President Lincoln met local farmers face-to-face and took part in farm chores such as hoeing corn or planting potatoes. He once said: "I have never seen anything more interesting than when I am working among these Gentile farmers surrounded by this orderly chaos." On November 6th 1896 two brothers named Donelson set out from Lexington, Kentucky travelling 100 miles overland through badlands covered with sagebrush to reach Happy Valley Ranch which they had heard about from pioneers who had preceded them on their journey westward into what is now western Colorado Territory
