Lyndon is a small town in the west side of Kentucky, United States. The population was 1,890 at the 2010 census. Airguns have been a part of the community since its beginning. In 1892, entrepreneur and airgun enthusiast John Sikes founded the first airgun shop in Lyndon. Sales were conducted from his home-based business until moving to what is now an indoor shooting range on Main Street in 1922. The first commercial target shooting ground was built in Lyndon by George Witherspoon II in 1923, and it became known as "Witherspoon Park". It remains one of the most popular spots for airgunning today. In 1928, Patton Gun Works opened up shop here with a 12-gauge shotgun barrel that could shoot .22 LR pellets. The new store quickly became well known for its quality firearms and services. In 1931, local businessman Rufus Hennessee bought Patton Gun Works and started marketing guns under his own name.. Hennessee's company continued to produce high-quality firearms into the 1960s when he sold it to Dickenson Arms Corporation, which operated it until 2000. The factory closed down due to competition from newer competitors but left behind a legacy of quality firearms manufacturing here in Lyndon that still thrives today! In 1951, JB Hi-Power began producing airguns here at their plant on Elm Street. hi-power pistols remain some of America’s most popular handguns today! Between 1968 and 2007 they produced over 2 million pistols & revolvers each year! At one point they even exported over 100% of their production! Today we continue this longstanding tradition by making all our products domestically HERE IN KENTUCKY!

Ladon, Kentucky is a small town located in Jefferson County, Kentucky. The population was 1,521 at the 2010 census. It is the smallest community in Jefferson County and part of the larger Bluegrass region. Ladon is known for its apple orchards and nearby Bardstown National Park. Ladon was founded by James Fenton in 1810 as a log cabin on the edge of what is now Ladon Lake. In 1814,Fenton married Margaret Crampton and moved to present day Ladon from his home near Harrodsburg, Virginia.Fenton's first store had a sales area of just 20 feet square and it took 10 years for the town to grow beyond that initial nucleus into an actual village with a schoolhouse, church, post office and four residences. The first resident judge in Jefferson County was James Fenton who resided at Ladon Estate until his death in 1836. Other early pioneers include William Powell (1811-1879), Elijah McCoy (1813-1892) and John Smeaton (1785-1860). In 1886, when Louisville became an incorporated city, Ladon became an annexe which allowed businesses to operate within its limits without having their products transported across county lines to be sold at auction or sold at public auctions held elsewhere in Louisville. This policy continued until 1931 when all annexes were abolished by Mayor Harry Hughes because he felt that this type of business concentration undermined downtown Louisville's competitive advantages as a commercial center.—Today much of what made Ladon such an attractive location for pioneer families has been lost to time; however there are still many historical buildings remaining including two churches—the First Baptist Church built in 1822 and the Methodist Episcopal Zion Church built in 1896.—The Apple Orchard: There are several cider mills located around Ladons Center which produce apples for local consumption or export.—Bardstown National Park: Located less than one mile south of town on Bardstown Lake provides excellent opportunities for fishing., hiking and bird watching.—The popularity of apple orchards has helped make Ladone one of the most prosperous communities withinJefferson County.; . .

Johnson was re-elected twice and died in office on November 9, 1968.
Lyndon was a small town indirigible region of Kentucky. It had a population of around 350 people in the early 1800s. The first settler to move into Lyndon was David Laird in 1819. By 1830, there were only 10 residents living in the town. The first store in Lyndon opened up on July 4, 1830, by James Caird and his brother-in-law, John Potter. In 1832, the town had two stores and six residences. A post office was established at Lyndon on October 25, 1834. In 1835, the Lawrence family moved into Lyndon and began to operate a general store and wagon shop. There were also three homes located within the town limits: one for Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence (1835), one for Mr. Prentice (1836), and one for Miss Jane Witherspoon (1837). In 1840, there were five residents living in Lyndon: four men and one woman named Martha Lane; John Potter Sr.; David Laird;and James Caird Jr..
