The Ar15 upper receiver is a firearms design that first appeared in the early 1900s. The basic concept behind the ar15 Upper Receiver was to create an easily accessible and reliable platform for rifles. Today, this rifle design is still popular and used by many shooters throughout the world. In Louisville, Kentucky, where ar15 receivers first originated, these guns were often seen as the standard choice for hunting and target shooting. Over time, however, other firearms designs began to gain popularity within the Louisville community. These new firearms designs included the AR-10 (a rifle designed specifically for military use), which became very popular in the 1970s; and even later versions of the .308 Winchester Magnum (.30 caliber) rifle, which are now commonly used by hunters all over North America. Today, ar15 receivers are still used extensively within Louisville's gun community and across many other parts of America. This design has been proven to be one of the most reliable andordable platforms available on the market today.

Some rifles rely heavily on FMJ rounds while others may use more powerful bullets such as .308 Winchester caliber rounds.

The first AR15 upper receivers were made in Louisville, Kentucky in 1978.

The history of Louisville, Kentucky is vast and complex. The city was founded by the Celtic people in the late 7th century AD and became a key cultural center for the region. In 1802, Louisville became an important port on the Ohio River, serving as a trade hub for goods from west to east. The city experienced heavy growth during the 19th century, with streetcar lines connecting downtown with other neighborhoods. By 1920, Louisville had become one of America’s major industrial cities. However, progressivism began to take hold in Louisville during the 30s and 40s and adverse economic conditions led to decline in population and economy. In recent years, however, redevelopment has resumed in Louisville following efforts by Mayor Greg Fischer that focus on arts and culture as well as sustainable development.

Louisville is a city in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and the seat of Clark County. The population was $130 million as of 2017, making it the most populous city in Kentucky and one of the most populous cities in America. It is also home to the University of Louisville, one of the largest universities in the United States. Louisville has been called "the capital of country" and "the cultural heartland." The region that includes present-day Louisville was originally populated by Native Americans such as the Shawnees and Potomacs. In 1795, General James Wilkinson founded what became known as The Old Capitol on Capitol Hill, within sight of where now Interstate 5 & US 40 cross at Broadway. The original building was destroyed by a fire in 1806, but a new capitol was erected soon afterward. From 1820 until 1840s much settlement took place around Fort Harrison on Georgetown Pike (now Gregory Street), including founding of Bowling Green by James Kapp and other early settlers who built their homes there during what is now dubbed 'The bourbon belt.' In 1840s Union soldiers burned down part of downtown to prevent Confederate forces from occupying it; this event helped spur development around Fort Harrison which continues today. This process continued with waves of immigrants arriving during Reconstruction: Irishmen in 1871, Poles in 1881, Italians in 1907-1910 etcetera Families moving out into neighborhoods near downtown started calling themselves 'nicknamed' places like Southside or West Side because they were located so close to things like bars and theaters on Third Street or Prospect Avenue – which are still identifiable today thanks to gentrification efforts spearheaded by Mayor Greg Fischer (D) since he took office in 2013. nickname Development proceeded slowly until 1959 when then-mayor Don Owens unveiled plans for a new government complex called Western Plaza – anchored by an arena/multimedia center/stadium that would house both American football games played at nearby Goodyear Stadium (then known as Independence Hall) between 1960–1967 and international tournaments hosted at Quicken Loans Arena beginning in 1968….After years[of] planning and opposition from neighbors who characterized Western Plaza as an eyesore on their streetscapes contaminants began pouring into Eastern Parkway from behind those massive government buildings: corruption permeated everything about Owens’ administration…. By 1990s downtown had become rundown again with high crime rates due largely to defaults by developers………………………………………..In response to public outcry over what they saw as lax regulation combined with skyrocketing development costs adjacent businesses closed up shop while Downtown residents lost access not just to jobs but also essential services such as water supply A plan for revitalization announced last year led council members Yarborough [sic] Bevin [sic] III [D], John Yarmouth [D], Phil Bergeron [I] along with Fischer decided that redevelopment should include demolition or renovation not only for western plaza but also all six blocks east between 3rd street & Jefferson avenue This plan calls for creating more than 1000 new housing units along Withrow Avenue north side; 400 units will be targeted specifically for African American residents; 30% will be affordable housing Waiver program will allow certain low income families receive rent assistance through HUD while still remaining housed

In the 17th century, Louisville was an important trading center on the Ohio River. The city grew rapidly because of its location and its access to trade. By 1800, Louisville had a population of over 100,000 people. In 1801, Kentucky became a state and Louisville became its capital. The city continued to grow and by 1830, it had reached a population of over 300,000 people. In 1836, Louisville was designated as the capital of Kentucky due to its importance in commerce. The city experienced rapid growth during the 1840s and 1850s due to heavy demand for goods from abroad and from new immigrants who came to KY during those years. During the American Civil War (1861-1865), Louisville played an important role as one of the Confederate capitals of Kentucky. On April 12, 1861, Confederate General Robert Ewell failed to take control of downtown Louisville after clashes with Union forces; this led to Confederate Vice President Alexander Stephens declaring that "this place is ours." The National Guard was called in order to keep order while Federal troops burned buildings in downtown; however, this did not stop Confederate General James Longstreet from storming through town later that day and capturing all but two blocks inside the walls before retreating back into Virginia. Aftermath of this event saw many warehouses in downtown looted and destroyed by Union forces - one estimate puts the loss at $100 million dollars ($ million today). The Confederacy lost ground at home eventually leading Richmond turn their attention towards Louisville instead on July 4th 1865 when Union General Ulysses S Grant entered Lexington; this ended any hope for secessionist sympathies in Central Kentucky.]
