From then on, pistols would be manufactured under multiple brands until 1911 when all firearms production stopped due to World War I-related restrictions on arms sales. During World War II there was an increase in demand for pistols because individuals needed them for self-defense purposes and also because certain munitions could only be produced using metallic rounds that required guns with wooden barrels (e.g., shells fired from artillery cannons). As a result of this demand new plants began being built specifically for producing pistols using steel frames and other materials instead of wood or plastic parts; these plants are still working today making high-quality revolvers for American citizens all across the country

In 1827,KY joined Indiana as part of the resulting Compromise of 1850 which increased slavery in both states but did not include Kentucky due to its strong anti-slavery sentiment. In 1861, KY seceded from the Union and formed its own government with itself being known as the Confederate States of America (aka The Confederacy). This lasted until 1865 when Union troops finally destroyed Confederate General Robert E Lee’s army at Appomattox Court House – ending secessionism withinKentucky and reuniting it with Indiana!
On July 15, 1776, the day of the Declaration of Independence, Kentucky soil was consecrated to freedom when Kentucky's first Continental Congress voted to recognize the United States of America. The state boundaries were defined by a proclamation from George Washington on October 16, 1777. In 1792 General James Wilkinson became the first territorial governor of Kentucky. The territory stretched from present-day West Virginia to eastern Tennessee and included all present-day Kentucky as well as parts of Maryland and Pennsylvania.
