In 1859, Alexander Mitchell developed a new type of gun that used .44 caliber rounds instead of 18-gauge lead balls. This new type of gun was called the “Mitchell Rifle” and it was very successful in warfare. It quickly became popular among military and law enforcement officers across America. The Mitchell Rifle was so successful that it led to the production of other types of firearms, such as shotguns and pistols, which in turn helped make bullets even more important on the battlefield. The first real assault rifles were developed during World War I by American firearms manufacturer Winchester Arms Company Inc.. These rifles became known as “M1” carbines because they were designed solely for use by American soldiers in World War I against German troops armed with machineguns and artillery pieces (known respectively as “wehrmacht”). Assault rifles continued to be produced through World War II by various manufacturers including Colt Firearms Company Ltd., Mauser AG (which manufactured what is now known as Heckler & Koch), British rifle maker Browning Limited (later Bramwell Industries), Sturmgewehr 44 ( later Krupp) etcetera. Each war gave rise to its own distinctive type of Assault Rifle; for example, during World War II Japanese NCOs carried Type 99 assault rifles built specifically for this purpose while American Infantryman typically relied upon BARs chambered for 5mm NATO rounds which provided greater range at close range

In 1870s- 1880s Henderson had few residents because most people worked outside the community or farmsteads nearby for food subsistence or conducted trade with surrounding communities for goods they could not produce themselves due to lack of resources such as land or water resources. However during this time there were also some families that started making some money doing things like farming but did not have much need for more than what they earned because their fields produced enough food to support them and their families while other farmers around them grew larger crops which yielded higher profits so these farmers left Henderson when prices for agricultural products changed which created a decrease in demand for goods from Henderson residents so those people either moved away (during times when prices increased) or decided to stay put and try to find work elsewhere when prices decreased again later on however many people from Henderson did move out into other parts of Johnson County including Frankfort, that same year when new state boundaries were set up and that area became part of Jefferson County The post office began serving Henderson on October 15th 1881 under name "Bentonville". It continued service until it closed on May 2nd 1934 In 1911 tornado destroyed 3 homes near present day Interstate 65 bridge just east of town center; killed 1 person & injured 8 others It wasn't until 1974 that local entrepreneur Donnie Crain opened an advertising agency called Donnie's Place which became one of the most successful businesses in southern Johnson County The first post office building in town was built by J D Henderson himself back in 1881 as he realized there wasn't anyplace else he wanted his mail sent to since he didn't have anything better to do with his free time . He also built it as a way to show off his property since it looked pretty good from where he sat at the edge of town . Unfortunately no one ever used it though as it only lasted 6 months before being taken down due to vandalism

Henderson, Kentucky is a town in Carter County, Kentucky, United States. The population was 2,820 at the 2010 census. Henderson is the county seat of Carter County. It was founded in 1859 by settlers from Hendersonville, Tennessee. The first store in Henderson was built on Main Street and operated by Rufus Witherspoon and his brother-in-law James Stephenson. The first post office was established in 1859 and named after Colonel John Henderson (1819–1869), a Union general who served as military governor of Louisiana during the American Civil War. In 1865, Colonel Henderson donated land to build the present courthouse which opened in 1868. In 1903, the community erected a large peppermint tree on Main Street as part of its celebration of its 100th anniversary. The tree has been removed butemarked for preservation inside the current courthouse since it still stands today with numerous fresh mint leaves left clinging to its trunk! According to the 2000 census,[1] there are 2,827 people living in Henderson within 1 mile (2 km) of any school or business that offers education beyond grade level; 88% of these residents identify as white; 6% identify as black or African American; 3% identify themselves as Hispanic or Latino; 1% identifies themselves as Asian Pacific Islander; and 0% identifies themselves as other races/ethnicities
Henderson was founded by John Henderson in 1795. The town was named for Henderson's father, who had died young. The first store in the town was built on the current site of the Henderson courthouse in 1808. Henderson experienced rapid growth from its early years, and by 1840 there were more than 100 businesses in the town. In 1851, a post office called Henderson was established, and within a few years it had become one of Kentucky's largest towns. By 1870, Henderson had reached its peak as an agricultural community with corn, wheat, cattle and horses being the mainstay of its economy. However, during the late 1800s and early 1900s Henderson struggled to maintain its prosperity as lace factories closed down and other industries took over. In 1907, however, Henderson merged with neighboring Uniontown to form what is now known as Uniontown-Henderson County.
