Today, much like many other small towns throughout Kentucky during this time period (and even today), Henderson has seen increased growth due to resurgent tourism businesses which are based around such things as agriculture or fishing along its wide rural streetscape full of historical landmarks such as churches and cotton plantations dating back centuries
