Today, Henderson is known for its arts and culture scene, with numerous galleries and museums across several neighborhoods including Main Street Arts District (MSA), which features many sculptures created by local artists dating back to 1922; NCAA Division I basketball team Louisville Cardinals playing their home games at Papa Johns Arena; and major league baseball teams Cincinnati Reds and Pittsburgh Pirates both based in nearby Dayton OH
