They later moved to what would become Eastern Kentucky where Charles W., known as Chas or CHASJohn, became a successful farmer and merchant before becoming Mayor of Lexington from 1889-1892; he also served as Ulysses S Grant’s personal physician during the latter part of his presidency. In 1907 Henderson incorporation occurred when it was decided that Daniel Boone’s original Tavern on Main Street should be moved to what is now Community Hall Square due to its historical significance within the town itself as well as its location adjacent to old courthouse square which had been destroyed by fire years earlier but still represented an important aspect of early community life. The following year saw the opening of First National Bank by J B Hensons Sons; this bank soon became one of eastern Kentucky’s leading institutions with branches throughout central and eastern Kentucky before folding operations in 1946 due primarily to advances made against depositors’ bonds resulting from World War II shortageszoning banks across the country combined with changes effected by President Franklin D Roosevelt during his New Deal Programs meant that national commercial banks were re-established throughout most American cities following World War II providing access to credit products not available prior thereto only at high cost results given their prior dominance within individual banking sectors previous thereto making such institution consolidations more difficult than they otherwise might have been given their potential size alone had not state/national government regulations impacted such behavior
