In recent decades however, Georgetown has experienced some negative trends which have caused it to decline economically speaking. For example, although it remains a popular tourist destination overall there has been a decrease in visitor numbers over recent years; particularly among younger generations who are more likely to visit sites such as dinner theaters or historical attractions instead.
