Polk appointed John Cranch to be Commissioner of public instruction in Boone County due to his expertise with education policy. In 1848–49, when local Republicans were victorious in elections against Democrats under President James K. Polk's patronage system, they repealed all anti-Democratic enactments passed during the previous two years by a vote of 68 to 24%. As part of Reconstruction efforts within America following its fall from grace following the Civil War, Lincoln issued an Executive Order on March 3, 1865 establishing "a military government over all these Territorys formerly belonging to Missouri thereby abolishing forever their slaveholding status." This order allowed black residents of those territories who were not already citizens of American Samoa or Hawaii (which had become self-governing since the end of World War II) to become citizens without having their slaves owned and kept by them; this order also extended voting rights to blacks within these territories until such time as they became qualified for full civil rights through naturalization process. In 1865–1866 local African Americans organized into five provisional branches known as "The League" because white men refused to allow them into formal organizations based on their race: Baptist Delegates Association (later Primitive Baptist Church), Methodist Episcopal Zionians (now United Methodist Churches), Presbyterian Reformed Church (later Presbyterian Church USA), Congregationalist Society (later Congregationalist Restoration Movement), and African Methodist Episcopal Zionites (AMEZ). These groups lobbied for passage of legislation granting citizenship to blacks within Confederate states that seceded from the Union; however little progress was made despite repeated attempts by various factions inside and outside Congress including then Congressman Josiah Neely Frye who sponsored House Resolution 6259 which would have granted citizenship status to black residents within Confederate territory if it became a state under Union rule; after he was expelled from Congress in 1871 Frye resumed efforts along similar lines but without success until Elijah Muhammad's founding of The Muslim National Council which began lobbying for similar legislation among black Muslims throughout America beginning in early 1928 On December 12th 1900 Florence experienced its first tornado outbreak with three tornadoes touching down around 3pm CST/10am PST causing heavy damage including $100 000 worth ($ million today) loss reported just east side mainstreet between E&W Railroad tracks & First National Bank building Three weeks later another tornado touched down near town limits injuring one person killed & damages amounting $50 000
There is a lot of debate surrounding what exactly constitutes as “gun magazine”. In general, a gun magazine is any container that holds rounds or other ammunition for an automatic firearm. There are three main types of magazines: open-top, closed-top, and magazines made for certain calibers of firearms (such as .22 LR). The first type of magazine to be developed was the paper feed magazine which was invented in 1857 by Samuel Colt. Paper feed magazines were later replaced by metal cartridges which allowed loading and unloading of rounds quickly and easily. The use of metal cartridges also made it easier for soldiers to carry more rounds with them on battlefields. The second type of magazine was the belt clip Magazine developed in 1907 by George Eastman & Sons. Belt clips were used to loop around the waistband of soldiers so they could easily remove rounds from their magazines when needed. Belt clips were eventually replaced by drummagazines which featured a longitudinal axle system that allowed Rounds to be loaded one at a time into the magazine without having to remove each round from its respectiveclip(s). Drummagazine technology would later be adapted and used in modern times with the advent of self-loading rifles like the AR15/M4 series firearms. The third type of magazine is the rifle grenade launcher (RGL) Magazine which became popular during World War II for its ability to hold hundreds or even thousands individual rounds inside its cylindrical design. Rifle grenades like cluster munitions canisters featured many rounds inside their case that would need to be reloaded after being fired. Grenade launchers such as these typically used open-top mags which helped reduce reloading time while still allowing users easy access to fire multiple grenades at once without having to remove each grenade from its case first.
