In addition to its history Museum located inside Goodloe House features exhibits on local culture such as artifacts from the period when slavery ran rampant through Bardstown's streets and homes as well as examples of daily life during that time

In November 2017 , following redistricting changes made by the US Congress that include Bardstown withinJefferson County’s borders but without annexation into Louisville proper; Mayor Fischer won his fourth term with 54% of the vote against challenger Rocky Toprovince’s 46%. This event generated significant media attention as well as protests outside City Hall which lasted throughout December 2017 until early February 2018 when Fischer agreed to run for another term again next year
