In 1967, pistols started being issued by the United States Military as service rifles; therefore, many new weapons were designed specifically for optics use such as Mil-Spec optic rails which allowed soldiers greater flexibility when using optics within their firearms systems. As such, scope mounts became an essential accessory for any soldier looking to take advantage of this new technology! As rifles became more commonly used by law enforcement officers across America, scope mounts became increasingly valuable assets on those units' arsenals! In 1984, The Gunsmith Shop reopened under new ownership and continued sellingscopemounts until 1993 when it closed again due to financial troubles once again! However, Harry Frye still remains one of the longest-standing owners with his Store still open until today!

In 1922, the company merged with the Louisville Cigar Company to form the Louisville Pipe and Tobacco Company. In 1929, the Louisville Pipe and Tobacco Company merged with American Tobacco to become American Tobacco Corporation.
Ashland, Kentucky is a small town in the eastern United States. The population was 2,731 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Lexington-Fayette Metropolitan Statistical Area. The community was first established in 1825 as a log cabin settlement by two brothers, John and David Ashland. They named their new town after their father's home county,Kentucky. By 1830, the Ashlands had several stores and a schoolhouse in their initial settlement. In 1881, they built a gristmill which still stands as one of the most important businesses in Ashland today. In 1892, Jernigan Brothers & Company began to produce coal for local use from coke ovens on their property east of town. This started what would become one of the most successful economic engines in Ashland history with over fifty years of production until its closure in 2002 due to declines in natural gas prices and layoffs at Jernigan Brothers own mine near Bardstownesse. Since then much has changed for Ashland residents with construction starting up aroundtown including Interstate 65/US 421 interchange (opened 2003), an Applebee's restaurant and numerous housing projects coming along since then such as Gateway Village Apartments (opened 2009) which replaced an abandoned cotton gin located behind Main Street just east of town limits; Covington Place (a "grand old" home rebuilt into apartments); and Old Hickory Creek Commons (leased to provide affordable housing). One common thread among these projects is that they have fulfilled goals set by Mayor Darrell Kuykendall who has championed pedestrian/bike infrastructure improvements while also working diligently to attract larger businesses and retailers to downtown areas such as Main Street since taking office in 2014 after leading the city during its worst moments during the Great Recession – when many small businesses closed or went out of business due to low customer demand offsetting increased spending by larger companies like Amazon Fayetteville Parkway Plaza Shoppingcenter - now known locally simply as "The mall." mainline I-65 running through town creating gridlock every day except Saturday creates unique challenges for pedestrians trying to get around this chokepoint especially given that truck traffic often backs up onto Elm street making getting across without Baptists sponsored bike lanes difficult or impossible during peak hours other than late morning or early afternoon when there is some amount of daylight left
