However, what we do know is that bipedality is an incredibly versatile form of movement and can be used for a variety of purposes both indoors and outdoors.

The community of Ashland, Kentucky was founded in 1790 by John Ash and his wife Rebecca. The town grew rapidly and by 1825 had a population of 1,500. By 1829, the town had reached 5,000 people and by 1840 it had 10,000 residents. In 1925, the population of Ashland was 25,000; in 1940 it was 100,000. By 1959, the population of Ashland had reached 150,000 people and by 1990 it was over 200,000 people.
