The history of scopes in Wichita, Kansas can be traced back to 1875 when two gentlemen named W.C. Brown and D.B. Neely started a company called the Western Scopes Company. The company was founded to sell surveying tools and optics products to farmers and ranchers in the Wichita area. Over the next several years, the Western Scopes Company grew into one of Wichita's largest businesses. In 1911, the company merged with another business, the National Scopes Co., to form the National Scopes & Astronomy Society (NAS). NAS became responsible for providing scientific research services for school groups across America. In 1935, NAS changed its name to become American Astronomical Society (AAS). Throughout its history, NAS has been an important factor in promoting astronomy throughout America. Today, NAS operates three observatories located in Wichita: Eastern Michigan University's Observatory at Mount Lemmon (EMUO), which is home to the world's largest reflecting telescope; NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center's Green Bank Telescope; and Western State University's Laboratory for Optical Astrophysics (WSU-LOA). NAS also sponsors a number of outreach programs that allow students from local schools to experience astronomy firsthand. In addition, there are numerous amateur astronomer clubs and societies active in Wichita that support research and education about astronomical topics of interest to their members. Of particular significance within NAZS' history is its role in developing image rejection technology used by modern telescopes such as Hubble and Keck Ivar Aalto Observatory telescopes on Maui Island Hawaii! The use of a scope allows for better accuracy and range when shooting at targets in the sky, which is why they're so important in hunting and bird watching. There are many different types of scopes available on the market today, each with its own advantages and disadvantages. Here's a look at some of the most common types: The spotting scope has two main parts: eyepiece and objective lens. The eyepiece is what you see through while looking through your optics; it's what gives you your viewfinder image. Objective lens is how close your viewfinder image will be to whatever you're aiming at while using a spotting scope; this affects magnification (see magnification). When looking through a spotting scope there are three things that you need to take into account: focus (+/- 3"), field of view (FOV) (+/- 30 degrees), and magnification (magnification x/y). Focus can be adjusted by changing either the aperture or dispersion value found within the objective lens itself (the number next to focal length on an optic chart). This adjustment changes how much light enters your eyes from outside of your viewing area, making it necessary to make sure that all objects in front of the telescope are facing forwards ('focusing'), since everything else will be in focus regardless! There are several different types of turrets available for focusing including clicks, rings, levers, rotors, knobs and axes - just like with riflescopes there is also windage (-5/+ 15 degrees) and elevation (+/- 15 degrees). Rings can be attached directly onto both objective lenses or onto one lens only - depending on which type of turret you have chosen! For example ifyou have an Weaver style ring then each lens can hold an additional 2x zoom power! When looking through a spotting Scope ensure that both eyepieces are perfectly aligned before trying anything else because these adjustments affect everything else within that instrument too! With all these various fine-tuning options comes increased potential for error if not done correctly - hence why mistakes happen often when out Shooting!'

At that time it was one of several towns in northwest Kansas Territory (now Oklahoma) which had been established following Kansas' admission into the Union as a state on November 8th, 1854. In 1861, just prior to their raid on Perryville in southwest Kansas County (now Overland Park), Confederate cavalrymen attacked and destroyed seven miles (11 km) west of Hutchinson about five miles (8 km) east of present-day Topeka; this event became known as Cedar Creek Massacre. In 1865–1866 two adjacent land grants—the Hackberry Grant and Montrose Grant—were made jointly by former US Representative Moses Haskell and entrepreneur James Montgomery Hill so that white farmers could settle contiguous territory adjoining rapidly growing black farming communities developing along Arkansas Avenue south from Topeka under military occupation while Indian removal operations were ongoing across much of Central Oklahoma
