It became one of the most popular magazines in Wichita because it had good content and offered a variety of topics including gunsmithing, hunting, target shooting, shotguns and handguns. In 1924-1925, the Wichita Rifle and Pistol Club combined with other rifle societies to create the Wichita Gun Club Magazine. This magazine would focus more on indoor shoots such as skeet or trap than outdoor shootings like deer hunting or turkey shooting. However, it did contain good information about guns both old and new as well as features on upcoming events at local ranges. The early 20th century saw a lot of change when it came to gun magazines in Prairie. In 1925-1926, there were two major changes when it came to publishing gun magazines: The first change happened when the Wichita Gun Club Magazine merged with another rifle society called the Midland Riflemen’s Association (MRA). The MRA had been formed in 1912 by several local farmers who wanted to create a club specifically for hunters and shooters within their community. Because of this merger, all future editions of the Wichita Gun Club Magazine would be released under the name Midland Rifleman’s Association/Wichita Gun Club Edition (MR/WC). The second major change happened when Chip Kirkpatrick became editor-in-chief of Midland Rifleman’s Association/Wichita Gun Club Edition starting in 1926. Chip had previously worked at circulation control for The Sporting News during World War I before coming back into media management after war ended. From 1926-1928, Chip made big changes to how Midland Camera Company handled its photography products inside newspapers across America while also working on developing new content ideas for Milky Way Publications’ publications such as Winnipeg Tribune (now Manitoba Free Press), Tulsa World (now Tulsa World) and Kansas City Star (now KC Star). These new ideas eventually led to what is now known as “Chip Kirkpatrick's Theory Of Carry” where gunmen should carry large amounts of ammunition with them just in case they need it during a shootout or emergency situation outside while still being able to shoot accurately without breaking down or running out of ammo prematurely

However, during World War II the town suffered greatly from bombings that took place in nearby Wichita counties; as a result, many businesses closed down and most of the population left for good within few years. Since its founding, Prairie has undergone many changes both big and small; these changes have often had an impact on its residents and economy alike. Today, Prairie is an active community with a rich history that is still remembered today by its citizens who live there today!
