The modern taser was invented in the late 1990s and is now a popular weapon throughout the world. The history of tasers can be traced back to when they were first used as weapons. Many people believed that they could only be used against animals, but this was not true. In fact, human beings have also been using them as weapons since at least the 1800s.early 18th century British soldiers used swords and spears to kill deer and other animals during hunting expeditions; however, these weapons had little stopping power against large prey like elephants or lions."[1] By 1794, firearms had become available that could shoot darts out of Cannons (fired from a long tube). This allowed troops to take enemy animals head on with comparative ease instead of having to use swords or spears. It wasn’t until 1814 that pistols began hitting targets at close range which made it possible for regular citizens to carry firearms without getting into dangerous situations with their armies or government officials. In 1847, Charles Goodyear patented an air-filled tire that created a punture effect when impact was applied to it so bullets would ricochet off instead of passing through solid objects like arrows did before. Ammunition versions of this gun were designed by Goodyear starting in 1861[2]. However, theseweapons were not adopted by military forces until 1865 because they needed more firepower than hand-held pistols could provide[3]. After being tested on battlefields during World War One,[4], automatic fire rifles such as machine guns finally came into use during World War Two after being developed specifically for this purpose by Major General George Sowers (USMC) who served under General Patton during World War Two[5]. With this progress in technology comes increased lethality which is why handguns continue to play an important role in law enforcement today despite their less powerful brothers and sisters – tasers!

The guns were not specific for tasers but the devices had an electrode that was inserted into the criminal's skin. After impact, electricity would flow through the electrode and cause them to collapse or be incapacitated. This new technology caught on quickly and by 1912, there were over 20 device manufacturers in North America selling tasers. The first successful use of a taser as a weapon occurred in 1913 when two officers used them against three robbers who had already been subdued with pepper spray and shotguns. It was not until 1969 that an officer killed someone with a Taser while serving as part of the United States Rangers during Operation Neptune's Spear.
Newton, Kansas is a small town in DeKalb County, Kansas, United States. The population was 569 at the 2010 census. Newton is part of the Wichita metropolitan area. Newton was founded in 1881 by John H. Newton and his wife, Sarah J. Newton. It was named after John Herschel Newtons friend and aide-de-camp on his expedition to survey America's western frontier in 1803-04. In 1901, the name of the town changed to Newton after Isaac Asimovs book "The Foundation Trilogy". Newton had a post office from 1881 until 1907; it was renamed Hutchinson in 1907. The community has been known as Newton since 1901. In 1930, the first high school in Newton opened; it is now Wichita High School (formerly Hutchins). The community also has a park which opened in 1932 called Parkland playground; it is now K-8th grade Pandalus Elementary School located within the shrinking boundaries of Newtown that contains only about 350 acres of land for all purposes other than education use and support staff housing are scattered around some adjacent rural areas with less than 1/2 mile separation between them for electricity generation or retail services while still under developmentlington elementary school property across street from Hutchinson High School will be developed as an administrative headquarters building with parking lots for up to 100 cars serviced by a large laundry facility operated by VillageSpringfield Township Services Inc.; this project should have a total cost north of $100 million

Newton is a town in Pratt County, Kansas, United States. The population was 539 at the 2010 census. Newton is part of the Wichita Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town was founded by Isaac Newton and his wife Deborah in 1857. They named it for John Locke Newton, who had been an early settler in this area. The first post office was established in 1858, and the first store was built in 1860. In 1861, the Union Pacific Railroad routeisted through Newton and changed its name to Park Ridge; accordingly, Newton became Park Ridge Township. In 1867, the railroad passed through Newton again and changed its name to Pratt City; consequently, Pratt City became Newton Township as well. Newton has a history that can be traced back to when these pioneer settlers began moving into this area. Isaac Newton came from England with his family in 1836 and started homesteading on what is now known as Prairie Creek Road just north of present-day Garden Grove Cemetery southwest of downtown Wichita Falls. He also founded a sawmill hereabouts which continued operation until 1865 when it burned down due to arson attempts by local loggers. In 1857, Deborah NewTON married John Locke NewTON who had come overland from Oklahoma Territory some time earlier with his cattle drives. Like her husband before him, she began farming hereabouts but soon realized that she needed more land so they bought 3/4 acre (2 hectare) of prime land east of Center Street between Maple Avenue and Elm Street for $5 per acre (1 hectare) - their first purchase! From that day forward they were able to run their farm successfully while sending their children to school south of downtown Wichita Falls where they learned how to read and write! After several years of hard work they decided it would make more sense to move closer to Wichita Falls where they could get all their goods sold together rather than having them salesoccasionally go one place then back home again! So they bought another 3/4 acre (2 hectares), located today on current-day Canal Street near Eighth Place shortly after Independence Day in 1860 for $10 per acre (3 hectares)! This location served as their new farmstead until about 1870 when logs got too heavy for the small barns used at that time so a larger barn replaced it on what is now Meadow Lane northeast of center street! By 1880 there were 7 homes on this property - 4 stores including one operated by MrsGriffin & Son grocery stores as well as a blacksmith shop - 2 schools - 1 Presbyterian church which served both Ashtapelaghi families until 1938 (!), 2 churches within city limits plus other private buildings!! There were also many large fields hereabouts still being farmed even into the 1990’s !! The community started off slowly because most people only knew each other from village life or from trading things back & forth across wide open prairies!!"
