A few businesses remain active downtown although many have moved away during recent decades due to competition from larger townships east and west of Sedgwick County seat Wichita. One remaining remnant is a gas station which serves as the only retail stores within walking distance outside city limits while all other services are located inside the city limits (the exception being post office). There are no restaurants or bars available within walking distance outside city limits anymore either because those businesses closed down twenty years ago after moving into bigger cities closer to Interstate 70 or because they could not compete against better-funded places like Wichita’s various malls which offer much more variety for tourists than any small town can offer its citizens (and often do so for much less money). One notable restaurant still open inside city limits is The AlleyCat at 5th & Elm Streets which offers reasonably priced food items along with live music most evenings during summer months (although views outside range generally quite limited).

However, some remain active members of the community who continue working at local businesses or attending school functions together as a family unit. Despite these challenges (and occasional tough times), New- Yorkers have always been supportive of their fellow citizens here in Hutchinson County – whether that’s through fundraising events or hosting block party nights!
