The ring has two circular prongs that connect directly to opposing sides of the bore axis (or "weld"). It's often easy enough to install an optic onto a Weaver Ring using pliers or fingers; however, there are occasionally complications associated with weaver rings that require special care when disassembling or assembling rifles. For example, if you have an air-cooled rifle with an open bolt assembly (such as those manufactured by Remington), make sure not to confuse an air cooled bolt assembly with an unscrewed action! This proposal was approved by thetown's government and the school board soon followed suit. The firstmounted police officer in Lansing was named Charlie Warburg after Charlie Warburg, a farmer who donated his land to be used as a training ground for new officers. From 1911-1915, three more mounted officers served in Lansing before being replaced by motorized units. In 1916, Mayor John Ahern requested that Detroit Michigan build a public works project known as "The Golden Gate" which would include a large park located near downtown. To finance this project,Ahern raised money through loans from various sources including contributions from business owners in Lansing. The " Expand on Scope Mount" history begins in early 2007, when a user forum post by user corsicaahl urged the development of an expandable scope mount for rifles. The original design was created and tested by Brian Koppelman and Enrique Gomez, who developed and released the first version of the product in late 2007. In early 2008, Koppelman met with firearms manufacturer Cabelas to discuss new ways to improve the accuracy and functionality of their scopes. During this meeting, Koppelman proposed using expanding rings as secondary mounts on rifles to increase magnification and reduce weight. These rings would then be able to accept various optic brands such as Nikon, Weaver Optics, Bushnell etc., without having to purchase additional mounts or adapters. Cabelas immediately agreed to develop a prototype based on Koppelman's suggestion. A limited number of these Rings were manufactured between February-March 2008 before being discontinued due to high demand from customers. In April 2009, shortly after releasing his findings from that same meeting with Cabelas, Koppelman submitted a patent application for his expanded scope mount design which was accepted in May 2009. Since inception, the "Expand on Scope Mount" has undergone many revisions and updates along with growing popularity among hunters across all platforms (rifles & shotguns). Lansing, Kansas was founded in 1867. It is the 34th most populous city in the United States and the 7th most populous city in Kansas. Lansing is located on the Missouri River, about 20 miles north of Wichita, Kan., and has a population of over 165,000. Lansing and Augustus Hutchins as a merger of two small towns - Haltom City (now part of Wichita) and Willetton (now part of Topeka). In 1915, Lansing became one of the first cities in Douglas County when it was formed from parts of Hutchinson County and Lenox Township. On December 15, 1957, Lansing annexed to Lawrence Municipal Airport which had been created as an airport serving Lawrence town limits since 1923. The airport now serves both Snyder Municipal Airport outside Lawrence and downtown Lansing with general aviation aircraft only until 2020 when they will be able to offer scheduled service as well as air cargo services to destinations around the world through their new terminal building adjacent to Founders Park

By 1895, Lansing had an population of 25,000 and it grew rapidly during the late 1800s as towns were annexed into the city. In 1907, Lansing became an incorporated municipality with a population of 100,000. During World War II, Snyder County was merged into Lansing as part of the larger Kansas Cities area and its population swelled to over 200,000 by 1945. Aftermath of World War II saw rapid growth in employment and housing in Lansing while crime rates increased until they reached their all-time high in the early 1990s. However, recent economic revitalization has seen significant progress made in areas such as education and economy although there is still much work to be done
