This type of grip gives shooters increased range of motion while fired as well as improved accuracy due to its added stability. Haysville, Kansas is a small town located in Shawnee County, Kansas, United States. The population was 5,835 at the 2010 census. It is part of the larger Wichita metropolitan area. In its history, Haysville has been a center for agricultural production and rural community development. The first permanent settler in what is now Haysville was John Prentiss in 1854. A post office called Haysville was established in 1857, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1907. The town's name derived from James Hays, an early settler who purchased land here from George Stephenson in 1859. The railroad arrived here on December 12, 1886 with the arrival of the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. The town rapidly grew into a busy transportation hub as railroads connected it to nearby cities and towns. By 1890, when the last track ran through town (the Santa Fe had pulled out two years earlier), there were more than 100 businesses operating here. By 1900, however, only 17 remained; by 1910 only 6 did so still exist! During World War II most of the manufacturing that took place in Haysville went into effect during wartime production at Wichita's Hutchinson Ammunition Plant which employed over 1 million people during 1942-1945 including 1/3 of all Wichita's workforce! This plant manufactured rockets and other explosives for use by American forces during World War II as well as munitions for allies such as Italy and Japan! Today much of what used to be done here has been replaced by digital technology or moved to other parts of the country where labor costs are lower but quality control may not be as stringent! However many residents stay entrenched within their community with traditions like haymaking & agriculture continuing unchanged despite technology advances

Haysville is a small town in which the population was 1,853 at the 2000 census. It is located in Shannon County, Kansas. The name "Haysville" derived from the Cherokee word hayk-a-wali, meaning "place of plenty." The first settler in Haysville was John Denton who arrived in 1851. He and his wife, Sarah Akins Denton, built a log cabin on a hill overlooking the town. They were followed by several other settlers and soon there were four settlements in Haysville: Haysville proper, Easton, Mill City and Westover. In 1854 James Waddell purchased land east of Haysville from Jno. Fenton for $2 per acre and began to clear it for farming purposes. By 1865 there were over 100 acres of cultivation hereabouts. In 1881 John Fenton sold his interest in the potato business to Isaac Beardsley who renamed it Beardsley's Potato Plantation & Market Place. This site remains today as Beardsley's Market Place restaurant/gas station with its original facade still extant
Beginning in 1847, the town of Haysville was chartered as a new county seat for Douglas County. The first courthouse was built in 1849 and by 1860, the population had reached 3,000. In 1870, the Kansas Territorial Legislature created a new county named Douglas County based on recommendations from territorial governor John D. Winters. The first sheriff of Douglas County was George W. Smith and the first treasurer was Arent Hinton. In 1881, the Territorial government merged with the Kansas State government to form the Kansas Territory. As part of this change, Douglas County became one of four counties inDouglas Territory (along with Leavenworth, Topeka and Shawnee) that were united with present-day Wichita County in 1886. When Kansas attained statehood in 1907,Douglas County remained within Wichita county until it was split off to become its own independent district in 1912. The original courthouse still stands today located at 319 N Main Street inside City Hall building on Walnut Street Suite 505., just east of downtown Wichita Falls
