Today's downtown area still retains much of its pioneer spirit with farmers markets taking place daily during springtime along Main Street; old school buildings served as restaurants/bars during summers; antique stores dot the streets throughout Old Town; and many other unique features make up today's culture-rich cityscape that unfolded almost without interruption since it began developing more than 150 years ago!
