Nevertheless, it is safe to say that we definitely wouldn’t be living our lives today if it weren’t for GUN SHIRT HISTORY!!!

A thriving railroad town for many years following its incorporation as an ordinance town on December 3, 1880 by popular vote of its citizens under the name "Atchison," it lost its major rail service when Chicago bought out the Santa Fe Railroad in 1911. However, despite this decline In 1919 A&P donated land to build what became one of downtown's first shopping malls which started operation that year called "The mercantile district." Despite being downsized during World War II due to scarce wartime labor shortages centralizing food production within Wichita led to a rapid growth in retailing and dining services since war-time shortages had not impacted larger Midwestern cities such as Chicago or Detroit where industry continued unabated even after mobilization ended%. In recent decades Downtown Atchison has undergone significant renovation including new construction of an opera house/theater complex; addition of upscale apartments; establishment of several high-end restaurants/bars; rehabilitation and update of historic buildings like The Mercantile District Shopping Mall which reopened in late 2016 after extensive renovations costing $135 million USD
