BB guns have been around for many years in Waukee, Iowa. They were first brought over from Europe and used as pistols. Later on, they became more popular as rifles.
Waukee is located in southeastern Iowa, about 30 miles northeast of Des Moines. The population was 2,611 at the 2000 census. Waukee is a small town with a medium sized school system and an economy based on agriculture. The community has two churches and one mosque. There are also several private businesses and four public schools in Waukee. The first settlers to this area were the Weed family who arrived in 1847. They were followed by the Smiths in 1853, the Rankins in 1857, and the Neelys in 1865. In 1872, John Hutton donated land to build a school for Waukee County children which became the first high school in Waukee County. In 1907, Cushman built a lumber mill which continued until it closed in 1978. The community was founded on what is now Main Street by James Ladd and his wife Meta Ladd as Ladd's Store after they bought some land from Willis Ransom for $1 per acre (2/3 of a mile). It was renamed Waukee after James' brother-in-law Winfield Scott Wigham who settled nearby in 1847. The first post office was established at Ladd's store on May 20, 1888; it was moved to its current location on Main Street three years later. In 1915, Mr. & Mrs. Otto Schiebel started up their own grocery store next door to J P Weisbrod's bakery which operated until 1953 when it closed down due to financial troubles caused by World War II shortages of flour and other goods。 After Mr .Schiebel's death his wife ran the store until her death in 1984 (). In 1951, Dr . Everett Beavers set up shop at 5609 South 4th street () which he operated until his retirement from medicine in 1994(). Mrs .Beavers then took over operations until her death also in 1994(). After that time it continued as an independently owned business called "Everett’s Grocery" (). In 1998-2000 there were plans for a new elementary school but those plans fell through because of opposition from local residents who felt that such an addition would be too big or intrusive into their neighborhoods (); instead, construction began on what is now known as Peet Elementary School (). That building opened during 2001-2002 term but closed due to budgetary reasons after only five years of operation (). A new elementary school called "Shane Middle School" () opened during 2003-2004 term but again closed due to budget problems after only six months of operation (). Finally during 2006-2007 term construction began on what is now known as Prescott Middle School (), which opened during 2007-2008 term successfully despite funding issues subsequent thereto.). Today Prescott Middle School offers grades 6 - 8 full day education with instruction starting at 7:00am each morning}. Waukee had long been home to both Methodist (Methodist) and Lutheran churches; however, since Methodism leftIowa State University effective July 1st 2009 no services have been offered there since then.} In 1916 Fenton Ewing organized all citizens into various committees responsible for developing water supplies within town limits} This organization resulted eventually into founding of Des Moines Water District {} However given recent changes with regards to Iowans being registered with government entities {including Facebook Pages} farm operations have become more important than church attendance so services may resume soon]} As early as 1886 there were reports that someone had erected an artificial pond near present day Highways 16 & 174;} By 1902 there were enough people living hereabouts that they organized themselves collectively under the name "Waukesha Lake Packers."

Some of these weapons include airguns (which use compressed gas instead of bullets), pistols (including those made into submachine Guns), rifles (including assault rifles), and shotguns (which are used to shoot buckshot or ball bearings).

Waukee is a small town in western Iowa, United States. It was founded in 1847 by Captain John W. Cheney and his family. The town became an incorporated village in 1907. Waukee's population was 9,711 during the 2010 census. The first settler of what is now Waukee was Captain John W. Cheney and his wife, Mary Hennessey Cheney. They arrived on horseback from Illinois on October 15th, 1847 and started farming the land that would become Waukee. The Cheney's were pioneers in many ways, including being the first to settle in what is now Waukee Township; they also laid out the original streets of the town which are still present today. The land that would become part of present-day Waukee was surveyed by George Fenton in 1848 and it wasn't until after Captain Cheney's death that construction began on what would eventually become our downtown core – a feat few others had attempted before them! In 1907, as part of a larger initiative to improve transportation within the Village of West Des Moines, Mayor Harry Jankowski approached Captains John Sibley and Hiram Sibley about building a streetcar line between West Des Moines and their home village (then called "New Beginnings"). Without any funds or support from either party – let alone residents – development stalled for years until finally becoming reality with the opening of South Street Subway Station in 1951! Today, South Street Subway Station remains one of only two subway stations located within walking distance of single-family homes throughout all of West Des Moines! Today’s businesses include banks (JPMorgan Chase & Co., Wells Fargo & Co.) as well as restaurants (Applebee’s®, Chili’s®, Burger King), convenience stores (CVS Pharmacy), health clubs (Eagle Fitness Centers), three theaters - AMC Theatres at I-80/I-395 junction near DowntownDes Moines and another soon to open at FirstEnergy Stadium - multiplex cinemas - numerous other professional shops such as chiropractors, dentists, architects etc., several elementary schools including Lubbock Elementary School District No 2 School District No 3 school district #1 public school system middle school district no 1 public school system high school district no 2 public school system – making it one stop shop for shopping needs for west central Iowa!
