Urbandale, Iowa is a town in Johnson County, Iowa, United States. The population was 1,828 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Des Moines–West Des Moines Metropolitan Statistical Area. In 1927, Orville Haag purchased land east of town that became known as "Haag Park".
