Laser sights are a type of sighting device that uses light energy to target an object. Laser sights have been around for many years and are now common in most firearms. One of the earliest laser sights was invented by Professor Pieter Bakel and Dr. Hendrik Janzen in the early 1960s. This area served as both downtownDubuques commercial district as well as its cultural heartland until recently when downtown activity relocated eastward onto State Avenue near Interstate 80; however much older historic architecture still remains scattered throughout many blocks surrounding Interstate 80/State Avenue corridor including parts oforiginal Pioneer Square neighborhood located adjacent to Interstate 240/I-80 on Center Street just south ofUIW Campus Area opened in fall 2006 adjacent to UIW Welcome Center on north side of campus across from I-240). The decline in agricultural production during World War II contributed significantly to Dubuois population decline beginning in mid-1946 which has been mirrored by other rural areas throughout Iowa since then although some recent largescale redevelopments have begun or are planned in DowntownDubuques core area such as UIW Kendall House retail complex completed in fall 2006 adjacent North Main Street across from I-240) while others such as UIWs newest athletic stadium located adjacent East High School also date back several decades ago when Midwest League team Waterloo Cubs played their games there before moving upstate to Cedar Rapids where they currently call home

In 1851, the Iowa Territorial Legislature created the city of Dubuque as its capital. The city prospered until the turn of the century when there was a dramatic decline in fur traffic and population. In 1912, Dubuque voters passed a resolution to rename their city after John Fenton Chisholm, an American general who had played an important role in United States involvement in World War I. The City of Dubuque continued to grow rapidly until it reached its current size in the early 21st century.
