In 1990s Coralville began to experience rapid growth due to new technology companies moving into or expanding their operations there such as Verizon Business (now Verizon Communications) and Intel Xeon processor microprocessor design research laboratories located there as well as other startups having headquarters or expansions there including Puppet Labs and Glassdoor which later moved out west to San Francisco Bay Area suburb Mountain View while also taking over some buildings inside City Hall).
