In January 1991 three separate sightings took place within one hour each near Clinton; these reports included an orange triangle or “hot spot” seen by three people, strange noises heard coming from an area near where the triangle was spotted, and what appeared to be a green light shining down from high in the sky. All three witnesses claimed their observations were within 30 degrees of each other so there could not have been any confusion about which observation was referring to which target! On February 2nd1991 another round of sightings took place; these reports involved five objects which were various colors but all had certain aspects in common such as having wingspans greater than 25 feet (10 meters). These objets were later identified as flares created by residents during Super Bowl weekend fireworks displays over Des Moines! Clintons were also responsible for creating two iconic landmarks within their community: The Grosvenor House (today known as The Howard Johnson Hotel) and The State Fairgrounds which remain popular tourist destinations today.
