However, BSA still manufactures components for reddot sights under license from Red Dot Sight Company as part of their continued commitment to support these products worldwide. In 2013, BSA re-launched their red dot sight line with new design goals that focus on increasing accuracy while reducing weight while maintaining features common to older models such as illuminated reticles and illuminated turrets/ejectors. With increased competition from other manufacturers’ blue light emitters (BLE) aimed primarily at law enforcement personnel, it is hoped that BSA's revamped line will continue to be successful over time as they move away from traditional white light designs into more advanced technology

Ames is a city in the U.S. state of Iowa, named for George Washington Ames and his son, Amos. Ames was founded in 1836 as a town on the Chilton County line by three men from Pennsylvania: Levi Coffin, Nathaniel Barnes, and John Coffin. The first post office was established in 1837; it was renamed Ames in 1868 after George Washington Ames' death. Ames has several significant landmarks including: George Washington ISB Building - This building served as the first municipal hall in Ames when it was erected on Fourth Street between Griggs Road amd Capitol Drive in 1836. It replaced an earlier structure built by Samuel Morse which burned down during a fire that year. It now houses various government offices including those for city government; law enforcement; fire service;and public works services .
