In 1907 Addison Ives built what is now called Ives Hall on South Fourth Street which served as a social hall for local residents and businesses until it burned down in 1978. With these notable landmarks dating back to before even Drake University existed, it can be easily said that not much has changed since then about how life goes around here! What has changed however are our wonderful citizens who have continuously made this small town their home!
