Binocular production began again in Indiana in 1928 when American Optical Company merged with Rheingold Glass Works Incorporated producing binoculars under the name Rheingold-American Optics Corporation for most of its production life (1928-1994). The last factory operated until 1994 when it closed down due to a combination of economic problems and competition from new digital technologies such as videotaping and e-commerce. For many years, Rheingold-American Optics Corporation was America's leading producer of high quality binoculars both domestically and abroad. There are three primary types ofbinocularity:escopic (a long tube through which light is projected), periscopic (an eyepiece on one side that projects pictures onto an adjacent surface), and telephoto (or telescopic) lenses which allow magnification up to 20x or more

Zionsville is a small town in central Indiana. The population was 2,023 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Fort Wayne-Muncie metropolitan area. The first recorded settlement in what is now Zionsville was on May 10, 1814 by nine men and boys from Pennsylvania who named it "West Point." They were looking for a new place to rant and protest against British rule when they discovered this location on the banks of the White River. The group grew to twenty-four people and built their first log cabin here in 1815. In 1816, four young men from Illinois founded what became West Point again – this time with assistance from George Washington Carver and others in theIndiana General Assembly to make sure that every person living within ten miles of any post had access to education. The village name originated with Captain Samuel Morse who, while stationed at Fort Wayne during the American Revolution, heard about a group of young women who were teaching children how to read at nearby Mount Carmel Baptist Church (now First Baptist Church). He suggested that the name be given to them as an honor for their educational accomplishments. A school was started on October 1, 1840 by Mrs. John Atherton which served students up until 1865 when it closed due to desegregation issues in America. All Zionsville public schools closed except one which continued operations until 1984 as Zionsville High School; then Zionsville Township Public Schools opened as a 6-year high school making it one of only two high schools operating within Butler County (the other being La Grange High School). It was not until 1969 that all zoning changes allowed for commercial development in downtown areas such as retail stores and restaurants opening up along Main Street near Memorial Stadium North including Subway sandwich shops and Pizza Hut! In recent years there has been significant effort made by residents (particularly Downtown merchants) to revive business along Main Street especially since much of downtown property has been annexed into neighboring communities making it difficult or impossible for businesses located inside city limits to comply with current zoning regulations… Today, much like many other towns across America where economic health has declined over time due primarilyto suburbanization/migration patterns more than anything else…..ZionsVILLE stands strong despite occasional challenges but will continue work towards becoming an even stronger community through increased programming opportunities available both locally & regionally….ZIONSVILLE PUSHES FOR PROGRESS AGAINST SUBURBSIDE MOVEMENTS

As of the census of 2000, there were 6,902 people residing in the town: 4% Native American; 88% white; 2% black or African American; 1% Asian; and 0.4% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race made up 3% of the population.[2] As of 2009 Zionsville’s racial makeup had changed since 2000 with 12%. 9%, Hispanics now make up 24%, while whites have decreased to just 8%.[3] In some ways this may reflect changing demographics as well as an increase number refugees and immigrants who are attracted to areas like Indianapolis that are becoming more diverse racially/ethnically than they once were
Zionsville is a town in Vermillion County, Indiana, United States. The population was 1,591 at the 2010 census. It was originally called "Wabash" and later "Vermillion." The first settler in what is now Zionsville was George Webber.
