On November 6, 1925, voter turnout for election to fill several open positions on the local board was low so that full incorporation into the township did not take place until March 2nd following which time all but four members were appointed automatically by ordinance due to their terms expiring; this allowed for new elections on June 3rd which resulted in all six members being elected automaticly through nomination process On July 9th 2009 it was announced that Prentice Gentry would be selling most or all assets including buildings and land within town limits to make way for development projects totaling $127 million across three phases over 10 years starting with a initial investment at $24 million followed by more modest investments each year leading up to a final investment worth more than $1 billion expected completion date 2025
